As a community based organization, starting in 2008 GFG supports 3 charities in its Vancouver Region:
Chimo Crisis Services, Nova Transition House in Richmond – www.chimocrisis.com
Helping Families in Need Society in Burnaby – www.helpingfamiliesinneed.org
CLICK (Contributing to Lives of Inner City Kids) in Vancouver – www.clicktokids.ca
This link will provide updated information on where our fundraising is for 2010. As at April 24th, between the 2 Regions – Fraser Valley and Vancouver, we raised $230.02 for the charities in Fraser Valley and Vancouver. Week of May 9th, 2010 - through our weekly golf events ($2 added to each green fees), we raised another $144. between Vancouver and Fraser Valley Regions. Week of June 13th we raised $172. Week of July 11th we raised $124. Week of August 8th we raised $128. Great support golf gals!
We also raised $3,840.02 at our 2009 Wind Down Tournament, towards our 2010 tournament – September 18th at Greenacres Golf Course!
Keep those pennies and dollars coming – it’s for good causes.
