Club Rules & Policies
Guests:
Members are entitled to bring up to three guests to almost all events. Some events do not allow guests when they are at capacity, members have first priority. Guests are charged approximately 15% extra.
Male guests are not permitted except for events created for the purpose of bringing male guests, 'mixed events' or 'couples events' - normally on weekends in each Region.
As a guideline, we request that members bring the same female guest to a maximum of 3 events in one season. We would encourage a guest who enjoys participation in Golf Fore Gals events to join as a member.
Cancellations:
Members can cancel their registration online up to the signup deadline. You are responsible for filling your place if you need to cancel after the deadline. Your email confirmation will set out cancellation policy for each event.
Weather Cancellations:
Check the rain cancellation policy for the golf course. In the event of heavy rain, phone the golf course where you are registered to play two hours prior to the event and check your email for a cancellation. The proshop will be informed if the event is cancelled.
Rules: Members are responsible for following the rules of golf to the best of their knowledge. Please adhere to the dress policy of the golf course.
Etiquette:
Members are responsible for following proper golf etiquette and pace of play. We strongly reccommend that new golfers attend one of the rules and etiquette seminars run by Golf Fore Gals.
We follow a double par rule which asks that all golfers pick up their ball after they reach double par. This is 6 strokes on a par 3, 8 on a par 4 and 10 on a par 5. We aim to finish 9 holes in 2 hours and fifteen minutes.
New golfers are asked to refrain from registering in the first four tee times to allow the faster golfers to set the pace of play.
Late:
We ask members to come no later than 15 minutes prior to their tee time. When you are late the golf course has the discretion to forfeit your green fee.
Golf Courses:
Members are required to follow the dress code and rules of set out by our affiliated golf courses. If you are not dressed properly the golf course may not allow you to play.
Every player must have her own set of golf clubs.
Dress Code: Please use the following guidelines
No jeans No tank tops or work out clothes. No sweat suits
